To classify, divide, separate.

Time and history have been an inexhaustible source of disconnection and distance; of futures detached from their origins; of refining life to the improbable point of perfection.

Yet life knows where it comes from. It defends itself, imagines new destinies, and rather than destroying that obsession with perfection, it embraces it—and, in doing so, transforms it.

It claims it as its own, corrupts it until it becomes true again—human, natural. It does what it has always done best: it creates symbiosis.

It compels the meeting of light and shadow, of the right angle and the world's curves, of the human and the divine, of matter and essence... of the cave and reason.
